Product reviewer.
- I applied to RISE MNB because I wanted to contribute to ensuring that the medical devices released on the European market are fit for purpose and as safe as possible. It feels incredibly stimulating to be able to use my 30 years of experience as an engineer in healthcare to now instead be involved in product safety before the product is used, but also to follow the manufacturers' monitoring of the products while they are being used and are on the market.
- As a product reviewer, you are tasked with reviewing a manufacturer's technical documentation for a product that a manufacturer intends to CE mark and sell on the European market. You may only review products for which you have professional experience, which provides security in the work. You are never alone when assessing a manufacturer and their products, but are part of a team of product reviewers, auditors and clinical experts. In addition to the team, there are also other experienced experts within RISE MNB who can always provide support during a review.
