Workshop about the revision of ISO 16232

We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive lecture and workshop on two critical standards within the automotive industry: ISO 16232 and VDA 19.1. These standards play a crucial role in ensuring technical cleanliness and quality in our products. Choose whether you want to attend in-person or digitally.

Take the opportunity to get early information about the 3rd Revised Edition of VDA 19.1 and seize the chance to influence and shape the upcoming edition of ISO 16232. 

Dr.-Ing. Markus Rochowicz from Fraunhofer IPA, will introduce and present the new VDA 19.1, followed by an open discussion where we address needs and additional topics from Swedish companies.

The day begins with presentations on the new VDA19 and ISO 16232. During the interactive session in the afternoon, we will:

  • Discuss with the participating Swedish companies if the new VDA 19.1 could be a basis for the ISO 16232 revision.
  • Collect your feedback and input to enhance the revision of ISO 16232.

Markus Rochowicz

Dr-Ing., Fraunhofer IPA

Dr-Ing. Markus Rochowicz works as group manager for cleanliness technology in the department of ultrapure production and micro manufacturing at Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart since 2008. He is responsible for the development of the so-called Technical Cleanliness as an analysis, consulting and training service of the institute. The current standards for Technical Cleanliness VDA 19 parts 1 and 2 as well as ISO 16232 were developed under his direction.
