Uncertainty of measurement

Basic Physical Measurement Uncertainty

It may sound provoking, but we argue that a measurement result is worth nothing, unless the blurry zone surrounding the measured value is estimated, i.e. the measurement uncertainty. This applies in every measurement, both when used for calibration and in regular use of the instruments.

This one-day course is self-contained but can advantageously be combined with our course b1 Measuring equipment and calibration, which is held the day before

In this course you will get an understanding of the different concepts used. For much of the day, we work with examples, analyze measurement safety components, and apply practical step-by-step checklist.

Target audience

This day is for those who work with measurements, measurement results and measuring instruments. Both in industry and in calibration labs.

The course is in Swedish, however we can provide a customer specified course in English on request, with comparable content.
