To achieve credibility between market players, demands are made on the quality of measurements, which is also reflected by the authorities' regulations that set up "maximum permissible errors". We will especially look at category 2 in this course..

The course covers basic statistics, measurement of power, energy and the structure of the measurement system. The regulations for measurements in the electricity market, software for calculating measurement errors and measurement uncertainty with practice examples are addressed. We will also address measurements in the field, work environment issues and classification of instruments for control measurement. Theory is interspersed with the practical use of software. You yourself will carry out checks on measurement systems for category 2.
