Contact OveDo you work with radio equipment manufacturing and want to learn more about the radio equipment directive (RED)? This course offers an overview of the RED Directive and an in-depth analysis of electricity and cyber security related to the directive.
Products that consists of radio components (radio equipment) are regulated by the Radio Equipment Directive, which is an EU-adopted directive (2014/53/EU). The directive is called the RE-directive or RED. Here you will find legal requirements, rules and guidelines for those who manufacture, import or distribute products containing radio components.
Cybersecurity is an important part of the RED-directive as it consists of specific cybersecurity requirements that you as a manufacturer of radio equipment must meet to make your product safer.
The purpose of the course is to give the participant an overview of the RED directive and in-depth knowledge of its electrical and cyber security requirements. We go through a product as a detailed example.
The course is aimed at those who work with the manufacture of radio equipment. Perhaps you have a role as a software developer, hardware developer, safety manager, project manager, integrator or tester.
