Pressure calibration
What do you need to consider when calibrating pressure sensors and how do you avoid sources of error? What needs to be included in a calibration certificate and how do you set up a measurement uncertainty budget?
In this course we will cover the basics of pressure calibration. We will look at the design of different types of pressure sensors and principles used for calibration. Part of the course is laboratory sessions where you get apply some of the theoretical sections in practice. Traceability and basic measurement uncertainty are also important parts of the course, as well as the content of calibration certificates.
The course aims to give you basic knowledge in pressure calibrations. After the course, you should have sufficient knowledge to choose a calibration strategy and be able to interpret and establish an uncertainty budget. You should also understand different measurement principles for pressure sensors, as well as for different types of calibration equipment for pressure.
Target group
The course target you who performs calibrations or controls of pressure sensors and those who work with pressure measurements who need a better understanding of the importance of calibrations for the measurement result. The course targets new employees as well as those who want to immerse themselves in the subject, and both those who work in the field or in a laboratory environment.
The course is given in Swedish.
