The concept of industrial safety covers fire risks in industrial applications and processes. It includes protection against risks related to industry, storage, fire protection of tanks, storage of self-heating materials, sprinklers, dust explosions and more. 

Our research in industrial safety

At RISE, we perform controlled tests and experiments at different scales, studying parameters such as fire spread, fire emissions, fire resistance, self-heating properties, and dust explosions. When necessary, these experiments can be combined with modelling and theoretical knowledge.
