Manufacturing activities positively contribute between 20-25% of Europe’s GDP, and 70% of jobs in Europe directly or indirectly. However, manufacturing also contributes to around 30% of total global energy consumption and 38% of direct and indirect CO2 emission generation as well.
We at RISE help manufacturing companies to efficiently manufacture their products while conserving energy and natural resources, using clean technologies, having safe and healthful environment for employees, and minimize its environmental impacts such as CO2 pollution, energy consumption and waste generation. In our sustainability work in manufacturing, we not only consider environmentally friendly approaches, but also consider social and economic dimensions.
