Contact RikardThe membership program “Materials in hydrogen” is a unique platform for research and development. Here industrial partners and researchers can collaborate to find solutions to common issues from the industry and to support the development within the area of materials used for hydrogen storage and transportation.
When industry is to change and become climate neutral, hydrogen plays a key role as an energy carrier with many areas of use. As a result, we can see an increased need for knowledge about materials for the storage and transport of hydrogen within various industries. Both RISE and our subsidiary Institut de la Corrosion (French Corrosion Institute) have extensive experience and expertise in the area and together with our partner IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) we have recently started the Member Research Consortium (MRC) "Materials in hydrogen".
The MRC is a unique platform for networking among industrial partners, such as end-users, material suppliers and manufactures representing all parts of the value chain, and researchers. The focus is on R&D activities regarding the interactions between hydrogen and materials for issues relating to the hydrogen industry sector. We discuss and collaborate around common issues regarding materials used for hydrogen storage and transportation. We provide an opportunity to collaboratively work and find solutions within the topics selected by the participants of the MRC, joining both practical knowledge and state-of-the art scientific expertise in the area.
We have more than 20 international member companies participating in the MRC.
As a member you will get:
Join the membership program to participate in member-only meetings and research projects that aim to solve key challenges in the area.
