Processum Biorefinery Cluster is based on 20 years of experience in industry-oriented research and development, in collaboration between existing members of the cluster and RISE. With a long history of industrial symbiosis and collaborations throughout the entire value chains, the cluster reaches out to actors, regionally, nationally, and internationally, and actively works to create dynamics between the participating actors.
Processum Biorefinery Cluster aims to become a world-leading cluster for the development and commercialization of bio-refinery processes, green products, chemicals, and materials. The goal is for the cluster to contribute to dynamics between participating actors, as well as with RISE as the cluster engine, to enable the acceleration of the development of new ideas and value chains within the bio-refinery and bioeconomy.
Processum Biorefinery Cluster
Region Norrbotten, Region Västerbotten, Region Västernorrland
We actively work to ensure that the entire value chains are represented - from large companies with needs and residual streams to innovative SMEs that can contribute to solutions with clear development visions - to create value-creating collaborations.
The cluster is open to all types of companies, regionally, nationally, and internationally, who want to be involved in the transition to a bioeconomy, where the cluster's collective expertise in bio-refinery creates extra interesting opportunities.
If you are an actor who has a solution for how we can transition to a bioeconomy, or if you are developing new products in areas such as food, chemicals, materials or biofuels, and want to accelerate these towards commercialization with our help, you are welcome to contact us for a dialogue about whether the right conditions can be created through Processum Biorefinery Cluster and the innovation environment emerging around Bioeconomy Arena
