The mining industry is an important part of the society, influencing the norms that exist both within and outside of the mine's activities. The project aims to create conditions for a long-term sustainable industry that maintains global competitiveness by attracting skills from both women and men. The aim is also to increase the knowledge and willingness of the projects to work more inclusively to increase the pace of innovation, create attractive workplaces and at the same time increase gender equality and diversity in projects financed by the SMI. In close cooperation with SMI, we develop a training package consisting of self-instructive e-learnings and individual coaching for those who will write and apply for projects at SMI, providing practical tools and training materials for the innovation projects. The e-learnings will be provided via SMI's website, open to everyone who is applying for a project, and as far as possible integrated into existing systems and platforms.
