Kickstart circular economy
Circular economy is crucial for us to achieve the climate goals. But what is circular economy and how can a business benefit from it? Kickstart circular economy is a three-part workshop series on circular economy to give inspiration for how companies set out to increase climate and business benefits.
Pilot project for small and medium-sized enterprises
Kickstart circular economy is an initiative from Delegationen för cirkulär ekonomi that is aimed at small and medium-sized companies. During three meetings, the companies will be encouraged to take small steps in their circular adjustment work. The pilot project will involve about 40 companies and is run by SuPr, which is the node for sustainable production in Sweden at Södertälje Science Park, with the support of the research institute RISE as the main contractor. RISE is responsible for the concept development within the project and will arrange a few meetings around Sweden together with local partners from, for example, IUC.
Towards circular transformation
Some objectives for the pilot project are to;
- Give small and medium-sized companies new insights into the circular economy, make them see their business and challenges with new eyes
- Drive small and medium-sized companies to start or continue their journey towards more circularity
- Expand cooperation between companies in the field of circular economy
The pilot project is funded by the Swedish innovation agency, Vinnova
