ORKA has four parts:

  1. Mapping of a residential area's capacity
  2. Implementation of a research circle where we together develop new solution-oriented working methods
  3. Ongoing process management and testing of different working methods in practice
  4. The creation of a learning structure to manage and disseminate further experiences and lessons learned from the project

The project's target group is employees within real estate companies.

The overall purpose of the project is to increase the professional capacity of employees at the real-estatde companies to work proactively with the development of socially sustainable places and residential areas. By increasing the professional ability of employees and increasing the organizational capacity of real estate companies, the real-estate companies ability to, in collaboration with other actors, to suppot area based socila sustaianble dvelopmenatl processes will increase. The project will in particular investigate how a multinational company - Volvo Cars - with a firm and clear local connection can work to create positive development processes in residential areas.
