Contact AminaRoadmap for new packaging requirements in PPWR
The PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) will soon be implemented in the EU and will impose new comprehensive environmental requirements on all packaging and packaging users starting from 2026. The requirements increase on, among other things, the material content of packaging, recyclability, reuse and labeling.
Purpose
We will help you to understand the new requirements and develop a roadmap on how to adapt to the new requirements, based on your circumstances.
Method
Depending on your wishes and needs, there are two options: consultation or workshop.
If you need help with individual questions about packaging and legislation, we recommend consultation. The time for consultation is set depending on the scope of the questions. If you are a member of the business group Miljöpack, the consultation is free of charge.
If you need insight into how you should act on the new requirements, we recommend a series of workshops tailored to your needs. In an initial workshop, we give a general presentation of the entire PPWR and then jointly discuss which requirements you are affected by. After that, you can choose to immerse yourself in different modules such as:
- Recyclability
- Reusability
- Recycled content in the material
- Labeling
- Material optimization
- Reporting
The workshop takes place either physically or digitally. It is an advantage if the participants have different functions within the company/organization in order to contribute with different perspectives and knowledge.
Delivery
After the consultation, you will receive answers to your questions.
At the end of the workshop series, you will have increased knowledge of the PPWR and a concrete action plan with planned activities that you need to implement to meet the requirements.
