The facility enables research, development, and certification of advanced safety systems for all types of traffic and traffic situations. It combines unique traffic environments such as rural roads, multi-lane highways, urban areas, and high-speed tracks to test everything from autonomous driving to connected transport systems.
With access to networks like 5G, Wi-Fi, and accreditation from Euro NCAP for testing active safety and autonomous driving, AstaZero serves as an international arena for vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, researchers, and policymakers.
