Total defence and crisis preparedness
In our time of pandemics, heavy downpours and forest fires, the focus on society´s crisis preparedness has increased. Meanwhile, the world´s escalating political tension has given a continued reconstruction of Sweden's total defense.
Together with those responsible in the public sector, academia, business and civil society, RISE helps to build a strong total defense and good crisis preparedness. To support this work, we engage the entire breadth and expertise of our institute.
Our operations cover all areas of society. This makes it possible for us to contribute to the development of total defense within the areas that MSB highlighted in its national risk and capability assessment. These include energy supply, food and drinking water, transport, healthcare, financial services, information and communication, and protection and security. With the help of our broad network of contacts and expertise, we can support an effective and innovative development work within all these essential areas.
