Clean water for all – a challenge
How much clean, drinkable water have you used today? No doubt we all regularly turn on the tap without giving it a thought. However, in many parts of the world, clean tap water is a luxury. Every year, children and adults become ill and die due to dirty water, inadequate sanitation and poor hygiene. In order to meet future global needs for water provision, we must take on a host of challenges in the field of water supply and wastewater. For example, purification and the recycling of water for heating.
RISE offers technical know-how involving different system solutions and support in innovation processes in the form of test beds. We deliver decision-making data to companies and municipalities to guide the choice of sustainable system solutions, where we take into account the greatest possible overall benefit with regard to economy, environment, hygiene, social aspects and technical function.
