Ioannis “Yiannis”Petsagkourakis graduated in 2013 from the National Technical University of Athens with a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering (summa cum laude). In 2016, he graduated from the University of Bordeaux with a Ph.D. in Polymer Science focusing on polymer chemistry for polymer thermoelectrics, under the supervision of Prof. Georges Hadziioannou and Prof. Stefan Dilhaire. Afterwards, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Linkoping University, working on stretchable electronic and electrochemical devices for Internet of Things applications (i.e. energy harvesting, displays, sensing). Since 2021 he has joined Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), Unit of Bio-and-Organic Electronics, as a Researcher working on the chemistry and physical chemistry of materials for printed electrochemical devices. He has an h-index of 12 with 1100 citations and his research interests include polymer thermoelectrics, printed electronics, polymer chemistry, organic electrochemical devices (organic electrochemical transistors, electrochromic displays, energy storage devices) and stretchable electronics.
