What is AI at RISE?

AI at RISE represents the collective AI initiatives of RISE, Sweden’s national research institute, which includes 3,300 experts in diverse technological, industrial, and societal fields across the country. As a neutral research and innovation partner for both industry and the public sector, RISE translates research insights into innovative products, services, and value creation, thereby enhancing competitiveness and promoting sustainable development. Our approach combines leading expertise and comprehensive capabilities to address significant challenges and opportunities through AI.

What is the Center for Applied AI at RISE?

The Center for Applied AI leads a research program in critical AI areas, providing vital expertise for applied AI projects throughout RISE. It coordinates and supports AI integration across all domains. The center comprises 50 AI researchers in various research and working groups and manages a network of over 70 AI ambassadors in different fields, alongside the primary AI at RISE network of 500+ researchers.
