What d.centre|EU does

d.centre|EU is a movement carrying out a series of activities, to fulfil its aim: setting up a a community of practice and learning that works with design as a process to integrate different logics in society, that uses aesthetics and creative powers as wedges for a regenerative transformation.

 

d.centre|EU is:

  • leading the process of drafting and shaping the EU Design Agenda.
  • mapping process, commissioned by the EIT Culture and Creativity, to identify EU environments that effectively work towards a regenerative societal transformation
  • learning and sharing activities, within and across organisations, leveraging on transformative competences that are to be developed and adopted for achieving such transformation
  • a series of events that have several purposes, such as sensitising towards the effectiveness of designerly approaches, establishing ways of working together and sharing practices, exchanging situated practices of design driven transformation
  • funding mobilisation, together with regional, national and international partners, applying for calls or orchestrating funding actions
