Contact AnneliLeachate tests are used to assess emissions of harmful substances from, among other things, construction and civil engineering products, industrial waste (granular materials and sludge) to ensure that they meet environmental requirements for sustainable management, recycling and disposal.
We ensure that your waste complies with all requirements under the EU Landfill Directive (1999/31/EC), the Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC), the Environmental Code (SFS 1998:808), and NFS 2004:10 – including regulations for gypsum-containing building materials.
Why choose our leaching tests?
We help you handle waste sustainably, legally, and responsibly!
SS-EN 16637 simulates long-term (64 days) water exposure to identify the release of inorganic and non-volatile organic compounds from building materials.
SS-EN 12457 consists of four parts that differ from each other through different leachate to solid phase ratios (L/S) and grain size. Simulates different scenarios through water shake tests.
SS-EN 14429 method assesses the leaching behavior of waste materials under different pH conditions, in particular by adding acid or base initially.
