Silicon Carbide Valley - 30 years of excellens in WBG materials

RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden AB is a state-owned institute which operates as a company, and in many disciplines. We have a long history in Power Electronics, and in particular centered around the “Silicon Carbide Valley” in Stockholm where research started already in the 90’s (ABB and the Royal Institute of Technology and several companies in that cluster). We operate two large labs in this space and help both Swedish and international industrial players in design, simulation, materials, processing; our labs are in between academic labs and industrial fabs, ideal for trying new things.
