Future Adaptive Design Toolkit

How to create longer lasting products for circular offerings

Do you want to learn how to design solutions for circular business models with the potential to become more profitable for producing companies, and less expensive for customers? Then join our breakfast seminar to learn about Future Adaptive Design on August 28th.

The Future Adaptive Design approach is a result of ten years of research and experience from collaborating with companies in multiple sectors.

With our framework, methods and tools you can support companies to design longer-lasting products for circular business models that have potential to become more profitable for the producer, and less expensive for the customer compared to products offered based on linear business models. This breakfast seminar will give you an introduction to our framework and how you can start to work with it.

RISE:s tools and methods will help you to identify

  • How to design products that are possible to adapt to future needs and requirements
  • The main risks for premature obsolescence
  • The profitability and the environmental benefits for an envisioned circular business model
  • How purchase price and lifecycle costs can be balanced

Target audience

The seminar is targeting leaders within business and design and innovation, change agents, designers, product development engineers and project leaders within product development and design. We also see leaders within environmental affairs as important participants.

Agenda

  • Introduction to the Future Adaptive Design framework
  • Project examples
  • Information about our Training deep-dive workshop series

The seminar will be held in English.
