Hotel Arken conferance for RISE Manufacturing clusters

Innovating the future: Climate Neutral and Competitive Manufacturing

The Swedish Manufacturing R&D Clusters and Net Zero Industry invite you to this year's major event for innovation in the manufacturing industry. Over two days in May, we will focus on how the manufacturing industry can transform together while remaining innovative and competitive.

News for this year is that the annual Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference is co-organized with the new Impact Innovation programme Net Zero Industry.

At Arken Hotel in Gothenburg we will take part of the latest research results from projects that address three of the biggest challenges we collectively face - competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability. How can the manufacturing industry reduce its overall greenhouse gas emissions with the help of digitalization and AI, for example? One thing is certain, no one can do it on their own – we need to collaborate in new ways to maintain and improve competitiveness while becoming more climate-smart!

Collaboration for transformative change

On the first day, we will hear about Astra Zeneca's AI journey connected to manufacturing.

On day 2, Volvo Cars will talk about their work on sustainable casting and the project ‘Greatness in casting’ which is one of the first funded projects within Net Zero Industry.

On the agenda are of course parallel sessions with our clusters, study visits and more keynote speakers. The aim is to inspire, share knowledge and find common ground to create transformative change in the manufacturing industry.

In addition, there will be plenty of time for interaction during our breaks and dinner. Take the chance to network and initiate new collaborations.

We look forward to seeing you in Gothenburg in May – book your spot at the conference today!
