LCA in Mining – a legal and international outlook

In this webinar we will present, with the focus on the mining and extraction industries, a walkthrough selected regulations and initiatives in EU which contain connections to LCA. It may be direct requirements that an LCA should be performed or indirectly when LCA results are requested. The mining industry is international and we also do an international outlook to what is discussed in other countries.

LCA is a tool which helps to identify the environmental improvement potential and a well performed LCA is also a competitive advantage in marketing, policy and strategy work and to attract investments. To keep up to date with the regulatory frameworks is to be well prepared for the future.
