19 December 2024, 12:30
A new strategic cooperation agreement has been signed between RISE and Japan Innovation Network (JIN) to promote developments in innovation management. RISE currently offers the world's first third-party personal certification of innovation leaders and the collaboration with JIN aims, among other things, to introduce it in Japan.
- We will work together to identify, study, publish and communicate good practices for innovation management in Japan, Sweden and internationally. The fact that we are now strategically collaborating with JIN develops both parties. Our long experience of systematic innovation work, research in the field, and our certification knowledge make us an interesting partner, says Ingrid Kihlander, senior researcher at RISE.

JIN and RISE signed an initial cooperation agreement in May 2021. The aim now is to further enhance the partnership in order to drive development in the field of innovation management even faster.
- RISE is an international pioneer in the certification of innovation leaders and, in collaboration with the professional association Innovationsledarna, developed the world's first third-party certification of innovation leaders, based on the ISO 56000 family of innovation management standards as well as standards for personal certification. We already have a collaboration with Ireland on personal certification of innovation leaders and the collaboration with JIN aims, among other things, to introduce it in Japan, which will be exciting, says Tomas Holm, Head of Certification at RISE.
