Alireza Dehlaghi Ghadim joined RISE Västerås as a researcher and PhD candidate at MDU within the area of AI-ML based cyber-security for industrial control system, at the beginning of 2021. His research interests include cyber-security, Deep Learning, Anomaly Detection, and Applied Algorithm.
He has been working at the industry during 2011-2020. At 2013 He applied his science and experiences in developing SCADA and DCS, that are being developed to be updated due to high technology. Working as a Software Engineer and R&D Supervisor for three years, provided synergy between his perceived knowledge and hands-on work experience in real-life projects. During this period, he discovered invaluable knowledge and experiences including research methods, team management skills, working under stressful conditions and heavy workloads, and collaborating with fellow team members through close communication and teamwork. Meanwhile, in order to enrich his insights and knowledge into the field of Distributed Computing, he decided to pursue Ph.D. studies.
Alireza also, received his MSc degree in software engineering from the Sharif University of Technology (SUT) of Tehran in 2011 covering Distributed Computing by focusing on workflow scheduling on computational power grids.
