Alireza Salehi is a researcher in Medical science.
Alireza earned his PhD in 2012 at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering, specializing in the industrial process engineering (KTH).
After doctoral studies, between 2013 and 2015, he continued his medical research at the Department of Clinical Chemistry at Karolinska Institutet (KI). The research assignment was to create knowledge for better understanding of metabolites, amino acids and biomarkers related to lipid metabolisms for animal models of human disease.
From 2016 to 2019, he joined the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at KI as a postdoctoral fellow. His research focused on biomarker in biofluid, Multi Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
From 2021, Alireza Salehi is an affiliated researcher at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology (FyFa), Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm.
Alireza’s experience spans applied chemistry, method development, medicine and understanding outcome of raw data and classification methods to analyze complex systems through modeling and simulation (M&S).
His goal is to contribute to a sustainable society through interdisciplinary studies that develop digital systems, models and processes in combination with a scientific branch involving business, industry, medicine or chemistry.
