I hold a PhD in chemical engineering with a focus on developing carbon capture technologies from the University of Calgary. I have worked at several international organizations in three countries on various multidisciplinary projects related to bioenergy coupled with carbon capture and utilization/storage (BECCU/BECCS), collaborating with international and national industrial and research partners. Since August 2022, I have been a researcher and project leader at the Research Institute of Sweden (RISE), where I am involved in BECCU/BECCS projects. Additionally, I provide technical expertise for the selection, economic evaluation, and integration of carbon capture technologies with transportation and storage/utilization for industrial plants based on their needs. Furthermore, I lead the interdisciplinary initiative at RISE focusing on the industrial transition toward net zero.
