Andreas holds a master’s degree, acts as a researcher with focus on risk management of Hydrogen and battery safety.
The daily work consists of participation in research projects, to develop and evaluate new technologies, concepts, routines, legislations and regulations. The work also consists of supporting the industry with basic training and more tailored education as well as acting as an independent safety consultant.
Andreas also works with failure investigations where his extensive experience and contact network at RISE provides obvious advantages in terms of identifying connections, finding methods and thereby finding the root cause for the actual problem and finally come up with suggestions for solutions.
He has worked at RISE since 2004 in different positions such as a team leader for the mechanical lab and later for one of our R&D teams. Before he started his role as a researcher, he was the technical manager for the accredited shock- and vibration test lab. He was also responsible for developing and bringing the shaker test facility into operation in our battery abuse lab, SEEL.
