Ingemar has worked at RISE/Acreo and its predecessors since 1996. Main tasks during the past 10 years have been research and development within fibre optics, photonics and broadband technology as well as development and design of electrical and optical testing, measurement and characterization systems including control software based on LabVIEW and C. The focus has recently turned towards optical characterization of semiconductor sensors and work related to biosensing and biosensors.
Ingemar holds a MSc and a PhD in applied physics as well as a BSc in biomedicine.
Non-technical commitments include being a union representative for SACO and the chairman of Svenska optiktermgruppen (https://photonicsweden.org/svenska-optiktermersprakspalten/).
