Ingrid Öberg Månsson

Ingrid has a master’s degree in materials engineering as well as a licentiate degree in fiber and polymer technology and is working mainly in projects related to wood-based composites such as wood-plastic composites (WPCs), fiber composites and pellets. Other focus areas include gluing, evaluation of adhesive bonds, fire testing of adhesive bonds, wood protection and fire protection. Analysis methods frequently used are scanning electron microscopy (SEM), accelerated aging, cone calorimetry, automated bonding evaluation system (ABES), testing of mould resistance and testing of material properties. Ingrid is also working with process development and development of test methods within the areas mentioned above.
