
The Product Safety and Barriers unit is part of the department Paper, Pulp and Packaging. We perform analysis and evaluation of food contact materials (FCM), test barrier properties, and perform barrier research and innovation. In a wider perspective our aim is to contribute to a green transition towards a circular economy and more sustainable packaging solutions. These are complex issues and the solutions often need to be individualised. We support our customers and partners in determining both the question and the answer, according to their needs.
