Mattias Wennerstål is a Project Manager for the Pulping Processes, Recovery Cycle & Water Management, and Wood Durability consortia within the Bioeconomy and Health research program RP2021, as well as for different research projects within biobased material development. He also acts as Development Manager for the Material and Surface Design department. Mattias holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and polymer technology and has a background in the pharma industry where he primarily worked as a Medicinal Chemist and Team Leader in preclinical development.
