PhD in Physical Chemistry 2010 (Åbo Akademi University, Finland) with special competence in Surface and Colloid chemistry. Active in research, development and characterization of functional coatings for e.g. following applications: Liquid-repellent coatings, dirt-repellent coatings, anti-icing coatings, anti-reflective coatings. Special competence within wetting (contact angle measurements), flow in porous materials, synthesis of nanomaterials with sol-gel technology, coating formulation, surface characterization. Instrument skills: Contact angle measurements, XPS, AFM, SEM, surface tension measurements. Supervision of Master students and PhD students
