Panagiotis Evangelopoulos

Panagiotis is a reasearcher working within the field of themochemical processes focusing on plastic waste and other feedstocks. He is leading RISE's internal initiative for "Thermochemical processes and interdisciplinary solutions in circular and bio-based economics".
Panagiotis is a holder of Diploma of Chemical Engineering (2012) from the National University of Athens (NTUA) and a Master's programme in Sustainable Technology (2014) from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). He holds a PhD degree in thermochemical conversion technologies focusing on pyrolysis of waste fractions and feedstock recycling. During his career he has been involved and lead in several research projects both funded from Swedish funding agencies and EU.
