Patrik has long and broad experience in the field of fire. Handled tests in Reaction to Fire) and Resistance to fire). Deeply involved in the Battery Safety Lab where safety-critical testing is carried out together with research and education in the field.

Currently chairman of the standardization committee SIS TK 181 Fire safety and involved in CEN TC127/WG3 Fire doors. Also in the Boverkets referensgrupp för byggnadstekniskt brandskydd.
