Pia Westford

I do research, innovation studies and investigations with multidisciplinary perspectives on relationships between the built environment, the individual and society. Starting in nov 2021, I am working on two innovation studies in collaboration with municipalities that aim to accelerate the transition to sustainable urban and rural acceccibility and transportation. That is in respons to social and climate goals. With extensive experience from central authorities (specifically The National Board of Housing, Building and Planning), I have good knowledge of their work processes. Since 1992, I have contributed with method development and guidance in among other fields Integrated building and transport systems, Strategic planning of schools and Risk assessment in physical planning.
