Rickard Fornell

Hi, my name is Rickard Fornell and I am a Senior Researcher here at RISE, where my main focus is on connecting scientific and applied knowledge and perspectives for building solution-oriented system innovations. In other words; I work with systemic and transformative innovation management.

I have experience and academic knowledge in system modeling and assessments based on thermodynamics and engineering principles. I however believe that the main "quality" I hold is a curious and creative mind and a constant desire to explore new perspectives and work with people from different fields. I also think a lot about roles and means of collaborations for creating a Truly Sustainable Society, and avoid getting stuck in systemic archetypes.
