Silja Hofmann pursued a PhD in the field of electro-organic synthesis at University of Mainz, Germany. Her studies targeted the synthesis of pharmaceutically and agrochemically relevant N-heterocycles as well as the conversion of renewable resources. She joined RISE in May 2023 as an expert in the field of electrochemistry and organic synthesis, focussing on electrochemically enabled sustainable organic transformations from screening to scale-up.
