Stefani has a PhD in Electronics, is based in Sundsvall, Sweden and works in the unit Smart Industrial Automation. She has a broad background in physics, measurement techniques, control systems in the process industry, railway techniques, applied AI and software development.
As a graduate student she developed an optical measurement system for calculation of the size and concentration of water droplets in clouds by image processing and AI-methods. She also studied the properties of these droplets and the effect of icing on equipment in extreme weather conditions.
Stefani has a Master of Science in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering as well as taken courses in journalism, history of arts and language. She has experience with programming, design and test, project management and bids at several international corporations. She has also worked with communication, media and as a news reporter.
