Since 2019, Subimal is working with RISE at department of Printed Electronics in Norrköping (Sweden) as a Senior Scientist & Project leader.
Subimal obtained the B.Sc. degree, with Honors in Physics, from University of Calcutta and then went on to complete the Bachelor of Technology in 2008 and Master of Technology in 2010 from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta. He obtained his MS degree on Nano and Materials Science (2010) and PhD degree in Physics (2014) from Ecole Polytechnique, France. He has several years of experience as postdoctoral researcher (2014-2019) in Uppsala University (Sweden), CSIR CEERI (India) and University of Manchester (United Kingdom).
His current activities include: Life Cycle Analysis (LCA); Sustainable electronics; Graphene and 2D materials; Sensors (strain sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, pressure sensors, touch sensors); Coatings; Digital printing (Inkjet printing, aerosoljet printing), Die coating; Battery electrodes; Battery materials; Ink formulation; and Flexible/Wearable printed electronic devices.
Subimal Majee is a Senior Member of IEEE and member of Nordic Rheology Society.
