Tora works with topics concerning both horticultural production and agronomy issues, including agrivoltaics and soil health. She has worked with beneficial insects in agricultural systems, indicator plants, urban community gardens, biochar, permaculture, agroecosystems in a changing climate and has a PhD in the field of improved nitrogen cycling in organic cropping systems. The competence arches over organic fertilisers, botany and improving the conditions for ecosystem services. She has a strong interest in how plants can be used; in innovative cropping systems to promote food prepardness and decentralised production, as social bridges connecting people in urban settings, and to reach the national environmental goals.
