SHIC Case: Collective Impact Model For Husby

Together with Folkets Husby and the Stockholm Region, SHIC has been involved in developing a framework and manifesto for Collective Impact in the city district area Husby. During the autumn of 2020, the manifesto will be anchored among relevant actors working with issues related to mental health within the district. This marks the start of a three-year project where a structure for collaboration between residents, civil society, business and relevant public parties will be established. Within this collaboration structure, projects will be initiated, implemented and evaluated with the overall goal of reducing mental illness in the area.

Collective Impact is a cooperation model that exists in different parts of the world, but is yet to be tried in a Swedish context. The basic premise is a continuous anchoring among the residents in all stages of the project. This is made possible by, among other things, the establishment of a housing council. The Collective Impact collaboration is expected to generate long-term working methods among the different initiatives and thereby counteract project fatigue. The main goal is to achieve better results for the residents through clear cooperation among various locally based actors. SHIC supports the Collective Impact collaboration with method and evaluation support.
