Nationally unique by combining advanced mechanical life testing with cutting edge knowledge within reliability and computations.
Mechanical reliability and life are the most important product properties, where the product strength meets operating loads, and a well-founded safety margin is required. The testbed offers a mechanical lab and knowledge in order to:
- Perform life testing of components and systems to determine their strength.
- Measure the loads in operating environments and translate them into design loads.
- Assess reliability with demands on the product in mind by using statistical modelling of uncertainties.
The unique combination of advanced mechanical life testing and cutting edge knowledge within reliability and computations enables qualified evaluations of reliability and life to be applied within research, development, validation, standardization and certification.
