Contact TedThe international standard ISO 26262:2018 is used for ensuring functional safety of electric/electronic (E/E) systems in safety-related functionality in road vehicles. This course focuses on the lifecycle for software development in ISO 26262.
The goal of the course is to give software developers in the automotive industry basic understanding of the parts of ISO 26262 that are most relevant to them. Compared to the ISO 26262 overview course, this part dives deeper into especially part 6 of the standard - product development at the software level, but also covers requirements in parts 5, 7, 8, and 9 which are related to software development.
The course is primarily suited for engineers involved in the development of automotive E/E systems.
The course Functional Safety for Road Vehicles - Overview (ISO 26262:2018)or equivalent knowledge. The participant should have some experience working with embedded E/E-systems.
The course will be held in english if none of the participants speak swedish. The course material will be handed in english.
Companies that want to register at least five participants can get a discount on the course fee. We can also hold the course only for your company where we jointly agree on the time and place. Contact the course coordinator for further information and for a quote.
Functional Safety for Road Vehicles - Overview can be held during the morning, and this course during the afternoon, so they can be completed in a full day.
We will publish specific dates for this course, which will take place in Gothenburg on two occasions this year, one during the spring and one during the autumn of 2023.
