Relational Perspectives for Systems Thinking

Dialogues that focus on interconnectedness, dynamic interactions, and multi-dimensional relationships in complex systems are important for enabling an inclusive and equitable approach to address complex societal challenges.

Fostering citizen connections through philosophical collective reflections from various perspectives within systems, regardless of expertise and knowledge, is crucial for supporting transitions in society which are inclusive for all. It encourages local impact, interconnectedness, shared responsibility and action within the broader context of citizens' lives and communities.

We choreograph dialogues that guide participants through internal reflections, co-learning and group discussions. Developing methods and processes that take various designerly forms, for example installations and workshops. We combine more-than-human, design, speculative and system perspectives.

For example, in the project "Sun in my Backyard", we initiate and broaden the conversations around solar energy. Through the development of a series of value-driven workshops and an exhibition installation, we collaborate with cultural and technological partners to explore the multi-dimensional relationship we have with the sun with a design perspective. Together participating in a democratic dialogue about the future of solar and exploring how it can be exciting and beautiful for everyone. In another the project "Let's start a conversation with a Tree", we developed a site-specific and experiential workshop process to connect political, ecological, urban development and community perspectives where participants reflect and form a dialogue by creating a relationship with the tree and its perspective.

We work to support collaboration between different expertises, industries and organisations, human and more-than-human. Facilitating dialogues that introduces various tangible and non-tangible perspectives, and making it approachable for everyone to participate in discussions on a systems level.
