Contact MarcusEnergiforum Sågverk supports the sawmill industry in its efforts to use energy and power more efficiently. Together, we reduce costs, increase job satisfaction and streamline daily work. Examples of topics include the updated Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) and balancing the electricity grid (ancillary services) with demand response.
Are you interested in networking on more efficient use of energy and power, or would you like a visit from an energy coach? Register your interest by emailing one of the contact persons further down the page.
The target groups for the Energy Forum are typically local technical managers, energy managers, electricians and plant managers, depending on the nature of the organisation and the topic discussed in the seminars.
Energiforum Sågverk adapts the topics according to the interests of the participants. In the initial work, we have divided the work into two main working groups: GNETA and TORKA. GNETA is about the daily work with continuous improvements (energy management work) and TORKA is about how the work around wood drying can be organised in an efficient way.
At the seminars, experiences from sawmills, RISE and suppliers are presented. The idea is to be inspired and learn from each other, and that the research projects and improvement projects underway at sawmills go hand in hand and reinforce each other.
The network involves some 20 sawmills and suppliers to the sawmill industry, and is run by the industry association STTF and researchers/project managers at RISE. A success factor for the network is that all participants share current projects and problems that can be solved together.
The energy forum aims to organise at least four meetings per year, with one of the meetings taking place in person and including a study visit. General issues and topics discussed in the meetings include:
