Packaging that protects, communicates and interacts
What is the purpose of packaging? Besides looking good on a shelf and attracting potential buyers, it also serves the purpose of protecting both its content and its surroundings. A package must be easy to handle, from the point of filling the package, transporting and using it, to the moment it is recycled. It should also be affordable for both the producer and the end-user.
RISE operates in a broad area when it comes to packaging, from certified testing to innovative material solutions and interactive functions. In collaboration with the industry, we examine conditions and possibilities within the packaging area, whether it is paper, cardboard, metal, glass, polymers or wood material. Through our many networks, we offer expertise on rules and regulations and courses on various subjects, such as sustainability.
