Testing of magnetic field meters

Testing of magnetic field meters/field probes in the frequency range 5 Hz-1 MHz with field strength up to 10 uT

Purpose

To provide testing of magnetic field meters/field probes in the frequency range 5 Hz-1 MHz for field strength up to 10 uT

The correction factor is used to improve the accuracy of the tested equipment.

Method

We test the equipment according to our internal metod 5031. This is done by placing the magnetic field meter/field probe in a calcuable known field created with a Helmholtz coil. The quota between the calculated applied field and the readout from the equipment gives a correction factor unique´for the specific equipment at the given frequency.

Deliveries

Report containing the correction factors at requested frequencies
